Dubai Culture and Google Announce 2nd MENA Creatives Bootcamp: AI and Innovation Edition

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has joined forces with Google to launch the second installment of the MENA Creatives Bootcamp – AI & Innovation Edition. This dynamic initiative is set to empower the creative community across the UAE and MENA region by equipping them with cutting-edge skills and insights into leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and technology in their creative endeavors. The program also emphasizes boosting digital presence and experiential learning, aligning with Dubai’s vision of becoming a global hub for culture and creativity.

An Opportunity to Revolutionize Creativity

Open to creatives across the UAE and MENA region, the bootcamp invites participants to register until January 10, 2025. With limited spaces, this four-day event promises a rich agenda, including networking opportunities, collaboration with top talent, and personalized mentorship from Google’s AI experts. Activities will primarily be held at Google’s Dubai office, culminating in an innovation-packed day at the Al Quoz Creative Zone.

The program will explore how AI can revolutionize digital art, enhance creative workflows, and spark innovation, offering participants invaluable tools and insights for integrating technology into their projects.

Shaima Rashed Al Suwaidi, Director of Marketing & Corporate Communication at Dubai Culture, highlighted the bootcamp’s alignment with the UAE National Innovation Strategy. She remarked:

“Through this bootcamp, Dubai Culture seeks to open new horizons for creatives and provide them access to experts, tools, and knowledge to explore technology and advanced AI applications. Building on a Successful Legacy

The first edition of the bootcamp, focusing on sustainability, attracted widespread interest with 88 applications from 10 countries. Guided by 41 mentors and 19 Google experts, the program helped 21 selected participants explore eco-friendly design practices and achieve sustainability in their projects. The success of the initial edition underscores the immense potential of initiatives like this to redefine the creative landscape in the region.

The AI & Innovation Edition builds on this foundation, offering an enhanced platform to explore emerging trends and integrate technology into creative practices, further solidifying Dubai’s reputation as a leader in cultural and technological innovation.
