UAE’s Private Jet Boom: 18,000 Flights Expected at MBR Aerospace Hub by 2024

UAE Private Jet Traffic Expected to Soar with Advanced MRO Facilities at MBR Aerospace Hub

The UAE is solidifying its position as a global private aviation hub, with private jet traffic at the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub projected to reach an impressive 18,000 flights by the end of 2024. This growth is driven by strategic advancements, including the launch of new state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology to cater to the evolving demands of the aviation sector.

Falcon Technic Gains GCAA Approval for Advanced MRO Operations

To ensure world-class maintenance and operational reliability for aircraft, the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has granted Falcon Technic CAR 145 approval for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. This endorsement highlights the UAE’s commitment to setting high industry standards and maintaining its competitive edge in private aviation.

Falcon Technic’s new facility, spanning 13,705 square meters, is strategically located at the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub in Dubai. Designed to support a wide array of aircraft, including large models like the Airbus A380, the facility is equipped with advanced technology to deliver premium maintenance services.

Tailored Services for VIP Clients

One of the standout features of Falcon Technic’s facility is its specialized offerings for VIP aircraft owners and operators. The facility includes luxurious private lounges, an in-house design studio, and customized maintenance solutions to meet the unique needs of high-profile clientele.

The facility is further enhanced by specialized shops for interiors, wheels and brakes, non-destructive testing (NDT), batteries, and aircraft painting. These services are aimed at providing comprehensive MRO solutions not only for Falcon Luxe’s fleet but also for third-party operators.

Expanding Capabilities and Future Approvals

Falcon Technic’s CAR 145 approval currently allows it to service its Falcon Luxe fleet of Bombardier Global Express series aircraft. However, the company is actively pursuing approvals for additional aircraft types, including Bombardier Challengers, Embraer jets, and Falcon 2000 Ex Easy models. Plans are also underway to obtain CAR 145 Base Maintenance approval and EASA PART 145 certification by 2025, positioning the company as a key player in the global aviation maintenance market.

Supporting Dubai’s Vision for Aviation Excellence

The establishment of Falcon Technic’s facility aligns seamlessly with Dubai’s broader vision to become a global leader in private aviation. Tahnoon Saif, CEO of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, emphasized the importance of these advancements, stating, “This state-of-the-art infrastructure reflects our dedication to providing innovative services and strengthening the UAE’s role as a hub for aviation excellence.”

A Milestone Unveiled at MEBAA 2024

The announcement of Falcon Technic’s new facility and its GCAA approval was made during the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) Show 2024. The event showcased the UAE’s commitment to innovation and growth in the aviation industry, underscoring its position as a global hub for private jet services.

As the UAE continues to invest in cutting-edge infrastructure and services, the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub is poised to become a cornerstone of the global private aviation industry, catering to the needs of elite clients and enhancing the nation’s reputation for aviation excellence.
